The new revolutionary AI-powered dating app is set to redefine how individuals find and nurture genuine, lasting relationships. SYNC is said to leverage advanced artificial intelligence and a new biometric technology to guide users toward deeper compatibility and lasting love.

Richard Turing is one of the recognized figures in the tech industry, contributing to the foundational code of the digital age. From his early architectural work at FreeMindAI and DeepCore to the creation of the prevailing RHYTHM OS and NOUS LLM, he has defined the boundaries of human-computer interaction. 

Turing’s entry into the highly personal realm of dating apps raises eyebrows, as it might seem unexpected for a person known for calculated logic. Yet, for Turing, it's a natural progression in the quest to understand humanity.

In an exclusive interview, Turing addressed the strategic intent behind SYNC:

"Human emotion is the most imprecise variable in our existence, yet it dictates the development of our evolution. How do we build our relationship with others? It can say something about our future." Turing stated. "For the last decade, we have focused on solving the energy crisis with Green AI. Now, we turn our processing power inward. We have long accepted that misunderstanding and conflict are inevitable human traits. But I disagree. Conflict is simply an anomaly in communication. SYNC is the patch for that."

According to Turing, SYNC is not merely another swiping app. SYNC is set to redefine online dating by offering a highly gamified, AI-guided journey towards genuine, lasting relationships. Turing explained that they leverage advanced technology to foster deeper compatibility and authentic intimacy through a progressive series of what they called "SYNC Missions" and "SYNC Simulations."

Turing’s empire is built on hardware. Many find that pivoting to a dating app seems like a departure from his typical ventures. However, he clarified that it's quite the opposite of what people understand when he started developing the dating app.  “I believe that despite the “connectedness” of the endless swipe that most of the dating apps offer, it is slowly morphing into an epidemic of loneliness.”

“Disconnected pieces indicate an architectural failure if we think of humankind as a networked system. Logical reasoning may be written, as demonstrated by my work with NOUS (Synchronicity’s Foundational AI). We are now demonstrating with RHYTHM OS 5 that empathy is merely a pattern that we haven't yet figured out. I am creating a fundamental rhythm for human interaction, not just a dating app,” Turing explained. 

He added that although the progress of AI over the past decades has seemed slow, the introduction of generative AI and foundation models has accelerated the field, which is helping researchers develop more advanced language models and improve machine learning techniques. 

He also noted that current systems show potential for developing AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), as their models, like NOUS-1 and NOUS ZERO, can pass complex tests, including advanced biological and psychological trials.

Turing explained that the upcoming beta test serves as a learning and testing phase for the newly developed AI Koi (the user’s primary guide in SYNC’s interface), enabling it to process large datasets and generate insights that help it understand users’ romantic goals and vulnerabilities.

The beta program includes a "SYNC Grant" and requires rigorous biometric monitoring through the system’s watch (SYNC Flow). Critics argue that this encourages individuals to "fake" love for money.

Turing clarified that, “People lie. Data does not. You can fake a smile for a profile photo, but you can't fake heart rate variability or galvanic skin reaction when holding someone's hand. The SYNC Flow technology, powered by our NeuralSync Core, synchronizes physiological rhythms. The grant is not a reward, but rather a research stipend. We urge individuals to contribute the most complicated dataset in history: their vulnerability. Compensation is only reasonable.”

When asked about users or couples attempting to manipulate the system, Turing remained confident. He explained that the SYNC app is built to detect anomalies in user data. Still, he welcomed the challenge: “They can try. If they can fool our AI, they are helping us to refine it, but I don’t think they will succeed.” 

Turing then explained that SYNC will change the dating app game as it has a different system and algorithm to ensure that the user will find their own match.

“The current market for dating apps uses dopamine loops to keep users glued to their searches. Like an endless swipe to find your right “match”. The dating app business's success depends on how many of its users remain unmarried. That represents a conflict of interest. Our interface, AI Koi, is intended to function as an invisible hand that guides the user through their journey to find the person for them. It filters noise using advanced search logic. It does not question who you want to date; instead, it examines who you are when you are at your best. Not only that, but it promotes a much deeper engagement in partnerships. We do not foretell the future; rather, we code the conditions that will allow it to occur,” Turing clarified.

Regarding the privacy and ownership of data, he emphasizes that all biometric processing occurs on-device (SYNC Flow), using the X-43A chip, and that raw biological data never leaves the user's local hardware. The exclusive signal is sent to the cloud for a high-level identification that encrypts the emotional state of the users. They also employ a Quantum-Optimized Compression. Richard expressed that, “I am not interested in your specific heart rate; rather, I focus on how well it matches your partner's rate. I am not interested in tracking your activities. My interest is in synchronization.”

However, Turing claimed that marriage is not the system's success criterion. "I'm interested in the Love Quotient (LQ), it's our company’s internal metric that evaluates biometric compatibility, communication effectiveness, interaction quality, and the efficiency of resolving conflicts. The algorithm learns if the program is unable to locate a match. It improves the dataset,” he continued.

As a leader in Green AI, Synchronicity acknowledges the energy demands of running a global, real-time emotional engine. “This is a genuine concern,” Turing said. Still, he noted that SYNC operates on its carbon-negative NUCLEI Cloud, with the Guizhou Hydro-Hub and Iceland Eco-Cluster carrying the processing load. Every match, he emphasized, is powered by renewable energy. “Inefficiency, whether social or environmental, is a challenge that I seek to dissolve,” he added.
